“ Always hot and fresh and delicious. This is my go to place anytime I am craving Chinese food. We typically order and pick up and not eat inside, but there is space inside if someone wanted to dine in.It ”
“ As a regular at Yaya Asian Gourmet, I can confidently say it's one of the best Chinese restaurants around! They have yet to disappoint, and every visit is a reminder of why I keep coming back. My go-to dishes are the Singapore Chow Mei Fun and House Special Fried Rice, which are always seasoned to perfection. Plus, they're generous with the shrimp, which is a big plus! Their General Tso's Chicken is another favorite--it's always served hot and consistently delicious, a level of quality you don't find at every spot. Yaya Asian Gourmet gets 5 stars from me every time. ”
“ This spot has the best Chinese food in Norfolk, no question! Everything's super flavorful and always tastes fresh. The portions are nice, prices are great, and the staff is super friendly. They nail it every time. My go-to whenever I'm craving good Chinese! ”
“ I picked up a lunch special yesterday, Kung Pao Chicken. I ordered a pork eggroll with it. The egg roll was good, crispy, and fresh. Not much pork, but I wasn't expecting much either. The entree was good, I asked for extra spicy, and it looks like they obliged. It was fresh, but I was still wishing for more flavor or zing. I added a packet of soy sauce to it and it helped a little. The staff was polite and I was served pretty quickly. I'd go back to try something else. One thing I wish is that there wasn't green pepper in the dish. I'm not crazy about it, I guess I'll have to remember to ask for them to leave it out. ”
“ I never been to a fine establishment, such as Ya Ya Asian Gourmet. Not to mention they are over the top when it comes to customer service, Which is exemplified by superior professionalism. I came in a customer and left feeling like family. The food was magnificent. Thanks, Pablo Williams ”
“ Stopped by for lunch. Family run business. They are a buy first and then either and sit down or takeout. No service. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Overall it's a small restaurant so ambience is pretty much for a quick meal. ”
“ While visiting the area, I was told there weren''t any good Chinese spots around. I found Ya Ya's to be pretty good! We ordered orange chicken, triple delight, shrimp with broccoli, and beef with broccoli. All four dishes and egg rolls were good. The only downside is they advertise fried rice, but it's really yellow rice (lol). ”
“ Hidden gem like what the reviews mentioned. The staff is kind and friendly especially the lady up front. The second time we came here, she remembered us instantly and even our orders. The food is delicious and came out quickly. The restaurant is pretty clean, as well. In terms of parking, it's pretty tough since it's downtown but sometimes we get lucky and find a couple of empty parking spots. Definitely one of our new go-to. ”
“ Good lunch specials! Was in town for business and had a craving for Chinese food at lunchtime. Saw this place had good lunch specials so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the kungpao chicken lunch special To Go but the ambiance would have been nice to dine in. The service was quick but I think language might have been a little barrier. Overall, I'd say it was good. I would probably try something different next time. The egg roll was super crunchy but I thought everything could use a bit more flavor and maybe more meat. Lots of fresh veggies, though. If you're looking for Chinese in the area, I'd definitely give this place a try. Enjoy! ”
